Best Answer

The IVetMATE underwent rigorous testing in regard to flow rate and fluid temperature. Based on conversations with veterinary professionals, it was determined that the desired temperature for fluid being infusion into a patient is between 98 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit. If flow rates and distances at the insertion site from the exit of the warmer are outside the optimal range, the desired temperature will either be hotter or cooler the desired temperature cannot be guaranteed and could cause discomfort to the patient.
